Pretty Prickly Pear

One of my favorite spring blooms are those from the Prickly Pear. Although, the plant itself is not all that impressive, the blooms from them are a visual treat.

I especially love the ones with the orange blooms....

It seems like all the color at the park this spring has been in yellow and white....

I also love how this vine looks spiraling up the tree....

This is the picture that greets me every morning at the park. I love watching the cows graze. This morning they are hanging out under the tree....
